THE JOURNEY TO A BILLION STARS
Technology there's nothing like it! It keeps us informed, keeps us learning new things, keeps us up-to-date with everything in the world in a millisecond, but there's really nothing like getting away from all that either. Getting back to what it's like to see a sunrise, outside of being stuck in your car on a morning commute. Getting back to the feeling of what it's like to sleep in the outdoors under the stars. A place where warmth is you and the fire burning close to your tent and food is what you make of it, with the tools you have under the stars. Bishop CA, sleeping under snowcapped mountains, climbing up sharp surface rocks, up before the sun and to bed as the moon would rise amongst a million stars.
OFF THE GRID IN BISHOP, CALIFORNIA
Going beyond my comfort zone, that was my trip to Bishop. The first morning after sleeping in probably 35° weather, freezing my toes off. I woke up to the most beautiful site, it seemed as if 100 deer as the sun rose we're crossing our direction, just in front of our tents. We all watched, took photos, but mostly took in the moment. There was a kind of peace, that one only gets from being in complete accordance with being part of your environment.
